 PPP ADS

Charlotte Social 360 recently published and uploaded a couple of videos about SEO and PPC explaining what they are, and its benefits in two 90 seconds on our YouTube and Vimeo channels.  Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and its importance for most individuals, brands, and businesses organic search strategy. We all know about the combined consideration of running a PPC, Paid Advertising and SEO campaignS as well for more immediate leads and inquiries to your landing page and or website.

When most people think about creating high performing, or noteworthy PPC advertising campaigns, the first name which comes to mind is Google AdWords. Yes, it is undoubtedly true that AdWords from Google is an incredibly well-organized ad network, but it more expensive than other paid ads networks. Paid ads platform don’t start and end with Google AdWords, and this is something not known by many businesses, brands and advertisers. Fortunately, there are some real worthy alternatives to Google AdWords which could outshine AdWords in all ways and also provide you with increased ROI. Here are few options to consider.

 1: Facebook Ads Paid Advertising

Facebook Ads are a no brainer, as we know the popularity of Facebook, as a social networking site, Facebook should be considered amongst most individuals, businesses irrespective of their age. Facebook Paid Advertising can be deemed to be a unique alternative, particularly when you’re targeting the younger generation. We can say without the doubt that the whole world has got an account on Facebook and hence Facebook ads can offer you numerous targeting options like selecting the age, location, gender, hobbies of the audience. But something that you need to take into account is that the click through rate from Facebook ads is comparatively lower, and so you shouldn’t feel demotivated about that.

2: Bing or Yahoo Ads from Microsoft

Yahoo and Bing are the biggest competitors of Google. They not only compete with Google in the field of search engines but also in the area of online ads. Bing or Yahoo ads were previously known as Microsoft AdCenter, and they appeared after the advertisement networks of Yahoo and Microsoft became allies to outperform Google AdWords. Yahoo or Bing Ads is not an incredibly cheap alternative, but still, you may consider them as they work well.

If you can recognize the correct keywords, you can see some significant results. Similar to Google AdWords, Bing Ads conversion metrics use both the maximum amount an advertiser is willing to pay per click (PPC) and the advertisement's click-through rate (CTR) to determine how frequently an ad is shown. The Ads network encourages advertisers to write effective ads and to advertise only on searches which are relevant to their publication.

Bing Ads restricts their ads to a given set of demographics and allows advertisers to target their ads and by increasing their bids whenever the ad is seen by a user of a particular demographic. Another important point about Bing Ads is they allow advertisers to run their ads at specific times of day, and days of the week.

3: Amazon Product Ads

Amazon is the biggest online marketplace which is also a huge announcement board. Through the Amazon Product ads, you can place your ads on product pages, and hence the positioning of the ads is extremely targeted as whenever the user goes through a product which is similar to yours, they will most likely see your ads. Amazon is a marketplace which sells everything apart from spaceships, and hence you get a lot of space for exploration. In some cases, sellers can't list products on the Amazon Marketplace where many issues, such as gated categories, or feeds without UPC codes can arise. Amazon Product Ads is a viable alternative to the Amazon Marketplace.  The Amazon Marketplace currently allows merchants to list on Amazon and traders can set up an Amazon Product Ads account like in much the same way as the Amazon Marketplace, through submitting a comprehensive product feed, and filling out some basic seller information.  The lesser known links at the bottom of the search result (SERP) pages, called Amazon Product Ads are also sometimes labeled as Product Ads from External Websites.

There is much other Pay Per Click (PPC) paid advertising traffic sources networks to consider.  Below are some of the Ad Networks we evaluate to get our clients the best return on their advertising investment.  Charlotte Social 360 has Ads networks experience with, Ad Roll, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest Ads, native advertising platforms like Twitter Ads.  We have a team of consultants experienced with Outbrain, Ad Manage, Ad Marketplace, Pulse360, 7Search, Instagram Ads, etc.  Just think we just explored PPC traffic sources, we also have the pay per view, pay per text, media buy, retargeting, mobile advertising, email marketing and other paid ads traffic sources that we will discuss in upcoming blog posts.

Bottom Line

We discussed three alternatives to Google AdWords, although some ads networks are focused on social media, many give access to a diverse blogging audience.  The in-text advertising options offer access to a different blogging audience. Though it’s different from one network to another, we may say that the significant disadvantage, in general, is the traffic quality. Your conversion rates with some of the second-tier advertising networks as you would with Google AdWords and or the Yahoo! Bing network. Overall the bid costs leave room for experiments, and traffic is cheap and abundant so you can expect a good ROI.
